Opinions - placement of stove
We're trying to decide whether to put the stove square on the hearth or on a bit of an angle. We can't quite get 45 degrees because it gets too close to the steps. What do you think?
At an angle. Not only do I think that looks better, but the stove will need daily attention to rake and clean etc. and the angle will make it easier to access.
Angle....every time

ReplyDeleteDefinitely at an angle. If the door hinges on the right it will be a PITA to clean out if its not on an angle :-)
ReplyDeleteIf fitted at an angle, make sure that the door will open fully against the step.
