Sunny Sunday

What a glorious day it was today.  We went to Bridgemere Garden Centre which was absolutely packed with cars.  I wanted a token gesture of the garden we used to have.  We bought a little tub and a few herbs - parsley, oregano and mint.  I have no idea how long they'll last with Winter coming but I haven't been able to buy fresh oregano in a supermarket so we'll get good use out of that one at least. We thought if we get a frost we might extend their life by bringing them inside the cratch.  Advice welcome.

We had lunch at a pub on the way back (The Swan Inn... but can't remember the name of the place).  Another quick stop for more forgotten groceries and back to the boat.  Mick potted up the herbs, and I sorted out the galley.

Tonight we had a visit from some swans.  There isn't all that many boats in the marina that are occupied so when they heard Mick open the front doors of the boat they came rushing over.
