A new camera

The new camera is a Panasonic Lumix TZ40.  It's replacing my old TZ5.  What a great little camera that's been.  It's taken thousands of photos in the time we've been in the UK, let alone the five or so years before.  The on/off has become unreliable so it's being relegated to being a spare kept at the stern for Mick to use.

I've spent half an hour this evening trying out the new camera and I'm happy.

And the above photo cropped.  Mick can't read this sign with the naked eye from the boat window and he has really good distance vision.

And my first... rather wobbly... attempt at a panorama

Yep its a great little camera, havent tried the panorama yet, will have to give it a go. Its funny as my old Lumix G2 started having trouble with the on off switch.

Paul, interesting that there seems to be a problem with the on/off switches. Hope it doesn't happen again! E
