Pick of the week - Morfe Lady II

Having been rather busy lately with readying our house for sale, we haven't been in our usual routine of a leisurely Sunday breakfast with browsing narrowboats for sale. This week we've done exactly that. There seems to be so many boats for sale at the moment with new ones appearing all the time. Seemingly a buyers market in the used narrowboat department! If only we were in a position to take advantage of the situation!

This boat is on the ABNB website. http://www.abnb.co.uk/boat_pages/1803web/1803abnb.php

Although it misses on a couple of our preferences we still really like it.
Positives : we like the paintwork and the inside timberwork, great shower, galley dinette and saloon are all open which gives it a great feel, cross bed
Negatives : L shaped dinette and walk thru bathroom

Very very nice, just not sure about a cross bed. I would be too lazy to assemble and disassemble every day.
Hows the house sale going?

Gee, you guys are all making me wonder about our cross bed decision! Everyone keep saying what a nuisance it would be. Still... I would rather make the bed than sleep against the wall.

Advertising going in this week and a feature in next Saturday Age. A couple interested so far but it's a quiet time of year to be selling. Fingers crossed.

Don't worry about your cross bed decision, we've had the use of both cross and linear, neither of us liked being up against the gunwall so the cross bed wins for us, having spoken to some at Crick that used a cross bed there they had no regrets. Caroline
