First day at a new job

Well, I had my first day at the new job and I think it will work out fine.  The people seem very nice so I hope my first impression turns out to be right.

There is all new software to learn (which I thrive on!) and new ways of doing old things.  Already I wonder why I stayed so long in a job that caused me such stress.  

I do miss my old work buddies.  We got together for dinner the week before Christmas and it was lovely to see them again.  We had such a fantastic night that we decided we'd try and do that every month or two.

So it's a fresh start!
