A couple of years ago we bought a map of the UK canal system. We bought it online and we were happy with our purchase. The problem is that it's so enormous we don't often get it out. We'd love to have one about half the size but I just can't find something suitable. We want to pore over it and dream about where we'll go and what we'll see.
Anyone have a suggestion?
The one we already have is Nicholsons - Inland Waterways map of Great Britain (2009).
that's the one most people have.skpt
On line see http://www.canalplan.eu/ On paper I'm no help I'm afraid. Are you on Twitter? I'm @rojertb That'd be a good place to ask.
Thanks for the comments. It seems everyone has the same map as we have. I've found some good ones online but we want to spend Sunday mornings poring over a paper map.
I don't use Twitter. Maybe I'll look into it.
We have a Lockmaster Map, Principal Inland Navigations on our wall, it gives a good overview of the system, but might be a bit small for what you want. Have a look at http://www.canalshop.co.uk/acatalog/lockother.html
Just realised on the canal shop the map is reference 63 Holiday Planner (not folded)
