The new camera is a Panasonic Lumix TZ40. It's replacing my old TZ5. What a great little camera that's been. It's taken thousands of photos in the time we've been in the UK, let alone the five or so years before. The on/off has become unreliable so it's being relegated to being a spare kept at the stern for Mick to use.
I've spent half an hour this evening trying out the new camera and I'm happy.

Yep its a great little camera, havent tried the panorama yet, will have to give it a go. Its funny as my old Lumix G2 started having trouble with the on off switch.
