The great grocery comparison

We've noticed that groceries are cheaper for us here than at home.  The English say they're expensive and getting more so, but when we work out the comparison it's cheaper than we're paying at home.  Admittedly the exchange rate is very favourable for us at the moment.  I've done a quick list of a few basics from Tesco and Coles online shopping (choosing a comparable product or the same brand if possible).

So... based on the list below at 64 pence to an Australian dollar it would cost just over $107 in Australia and just under £50 here which would be about $78.  But, even if the rate were only 50p to the dollar it would still work out under $100.
